Asian Cricket Council announce Jay Shah’s successor in Sri Lanka’s Silva

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced that Shammi Silva of Sri Lanka will take over as its new president. Silva, who is the current president of Sri Lanka Cricket, will succeed Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), who has been serving as the ACC president since 2020.

Silva’s appointment was made during the ACC’s annual general meeting, which was held recently. The meeting saw the participation of representatives from various Asian cricket boards.
