Akbaruddin Owaisi’s big claim: Allu Arjun said film will be hit after stampede

Akbaruddin Owaisi, an AIMIM MLA, has made a shocking claim about Allu Arjun’s response to the stampede incident at the Pushpa 2 premiere. According to Owaisi, when Allu Arjun was informed about the stampede and the death of a woman, he callously remarked, “Now the movie will be hit”.¹ This alleged statement has sparked widespread outrage and criticism, with many condemning Allu Arjun’s insensitive behavior.

The stampede incident occurred on December 4 at the Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad, resulting in the death of a 39-year-old woman and critically injuring her son. Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with the stampede and was later granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has also criticized Allu Arjun’s behavior, questioning why celebrities rushed to show solidarity with him instead of supporting the victims’ families. The incident has raised concerns about the responsibility of celebrities and event organizers in ensuring public safety.
